Waterfront di Levante is the internationally renowned, futuristic project by Renzo Piano Building Workshop in collaboration with Studio OBR, which revolutionises the city’s image and offers a new lifestyle, built to eco-sustainable construction standards with Lead Gold and NZEB (Nearly Zero Emission Building) certifications.
Developed by CDS Holding and built by CDS Costruzioni S.p.A., it represents a new vision of urban living.

A MAJOR CHALLENGE INVOLVING THE SEARCH FOR NEW SOLUTIONS, MATERIALS AND APPLICATION SYSTEMS
Momenti has introduced a range of innovative solutions
Momenti was chosen for its expertise and experience in large-scale projects with a high degree of difficulty. Our experience in sourcing and identifying suitable materials that not only met the technical requirements but also complied with all the stringent regulations demanded by the designers and the client proved to be the key factor in our becoming an integral part of this project, which will go down in the history of our company and beyond.
Approximately 5,000 square metres of cladding at a height of 15–20 metres above ground, with a team of professionals who worked for three months to achieve this milestone.
ULTRA-REALISTIC WOOD-EFFECT CLADDING
This project required the selection of a material offering exceptional technical performance as well as visual and tactile qualities. The choice of material fell on a non-woven CANVAS fabric.

Installation method:
On-site installation carried out by the Momenti Team, entirely managed using a platform at heights ranging from 5 to 25 metres.
INNOVATIVE MATERIAL
The decision to use this material was not a simple one, but a carefully considered choice. In addition to the stringent certification requirements that had to be met, particular attention was paid to the material’s ability to accommodate the flexibility required for installation at high altitudes, as well as to ensure straightforward routine maintenance.
