Michela Gioachin lives and works in Vicenza. In 2003 she graduated with honors from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, studying Painting with the masters Riccardo Guarneri, Ennio Finzi, Luca Bendini and Maurizio Martelli and anatomy with prof. Mauro Zocchetta with whom you subsequently collaborated. During her academic studies, the lightning strike that starts her current pictorial research: “Everything was born from an error. During my studies at the Academy I photographed the other students, I portrayed them looking for the most disparate expressions on their faces. I was looking for detail and precision for a later painting that was close to hyperrealism. And then it happened that one shot turned out to be wrong…”. This particular "error", called glitch (term used to indicate a short defect of the system in various fields of application of electronics), ceases to be waste and becomes a romantic mistake, a form of poetry through which the subjects are "electrically divided", "doubled" to tell the constant becoming of itself. / Michela Gioachin lives and works in Vicenza.
