Short Bio

Born in Chicago and trained at the city’s Art Institute, Anton Kobrinetz is an internationally renowned designer who has chosen Italy as the base for his creative work. His career, developed across the United States and Europe, is characterised by a multidisciplinary approach that blends interior architecture with the design of iconic furniture and avant-garde decorative surfaces. For Kobrinetz, design is an act of “functional poetry”: each of his works stems from a rigorous analysis of forms and materials, aimed at creating objects that challenge traditional aesthetic conventions.
