MICHELA GIOACHIN
Short Bio
Born in Vicenza and graduating with honours from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, Michela perfected her training under the guidance of masters such as Riccardo Guarneri and Ennio Finzi.
Her artistic research stems from an intuition that arose during her photographic practice: the transformation of the ‘glitch’ — the digital error — into a poetic and formal element. Through a style of painting that moves away from hyperrealism to embrace the electrical doubling of the subject, the artist explores the concept of constant becoming. Her works depict human identity as a fluid and layered entity, in which technical flaws become the starting point for a new form of visual romanticism.
